My Review

 After being on Earth for 21 days, the teens from the colony in space have it brought to their attention that they' re not alone on the planet after all. There were Earthborn's that had survived the Cataclysm, and they did not appear to be impressed that the kids had come to Earth.

 This book was once again told from the points of view from four different characters, with Wells getting a few extra chapters and Glass getting a few less. In my eyes the sequel was superior to the first book in the series. Here's why. The introduction of the Earthborn and Sasha spice up the plot and finally made the story about something other than whining, lovesick teenagers. Also, the impending doom of the people still living on the space colony, with their limited amount of air supply and shortage of available dropships, kept this reader wanting more.

 Additionally, while there was still a fair amount of smooching going on, I thought it was better placed in this book than it was in the last. The pairings made more sense and they ended that dreadful short-lived love triangle.

 In closing. I quite liked this book and I was enjoying where the storyline was going when it ended. I loved the mystery that was added. All in all, this book was worth reading. Now survived begins for book number three.
I give this a 3 ½ out of 5 stars.
