My Review 

  Before Wendy there was Tiger Lily, a strong, independent,  lonely girl from the tribe of the sky eaters. She grew up in a village that told many stories about Peter Pan and the lost boys and each held a warning to stay away from them. So when Tiger Lily encountered Peter in the forest one day her curiosity got the better of her, Peter as well.

  Often she went to visit the group of teenage boys and eventually risked the unhappiness of the entire tribe just to be with Peter. He was protective, brave and gentle when it was needed. She enjoyed every moment with him, even their heated arguments. Time came when she could no longer ignore her people and her duties to them. She stayed in her village to make things right even if it meant that she had to marry a man she detested.

  After a tragic event Tiger Lilly went to seek comfort in Peter's arms but what she found was Wendy Darling. Things would never be the same again.
 This is not the classic telling of Peter Pan, its sad and dark and yet it is a beautiful story. There were times I felt like I was in the lush forest of Neverland and could smell its fresh clean air.

 Told in the point of view of Tinker Bell, the tiny fairy that can't speak but reads thoughts. At first I wasn't sure if I would like the tale being told in this way but soon fell in love with the little fairy that just wanted to be noticed and loved.
  Tiger Lily and Peter's relationship was exciting and innocent, even through their story didn't have a fairytale ending I feel their love was everlasting.
 I give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

 A truly magical story.
Would I read it again? Maybe.
